Dear Reader,

The Unstoppable Dr. Stan… sounds like a superhero name. But am I a superhero? I’ll never tell. It is up to you, dear Reader, to determine the abilities of this Author. Am I a simple mortal, playing on the same field as the rest of the wonderful citizens of our great city? Or am I one of the privileged few, destined to show off their superpowers in the fight against evil? More on this story at 11:00.

But seriously dear Reader, this being my first blog I figured I would do my best to enlighten you on why am I writing a blog. Though I imagine you already know, I wanted to write something for my first blog, so here we are. And if you’re a sucker enough to read it, then, well, I thank you for being a sucker and reading my first blog post.

Why I am here and writing is a pretty easy question to answer. It’s because I am taking Unstoppable, which was voluntary, then mandatory, then kindof voluntary mandatory, then some form of jumbled voluntary, then finally just (mercifully) mandatory. What’s that dear Reader? Why am I taking Unstoppable? That is a loaded question to ask me when this is for work, you sly villain you.

Well, I’m taking Unstoppable because of a couple reasons, one (yes) being the “mandatory” part mentioned earlier. But you know what dear Reader, this is not your Author’s first time at trying Unstoppable. The first time, this humble Author found out, much to his chagrin, that he is indeed stoppable when health issues arrive.

But I refuse to let that beat me, I will definitely come back and beat Unstoppable this time! The mastermind of my demise the last time will not get the best of me this go around. Unless, you know, I die, which would put a damper on things. But I think we can assume that will not happen. And thus, the Unstoppable Dr. Stan will take the course and win out over its many obstacles! The triumph will happen and another day will be saved!

What’s that dear Reader? You would like to know more about the superhero thing? Well, unfortunately, the policy is to never talk about any superpowers the Unstoppable Dr. Stan may or may not have. But if you keep reading as we go along, you just find out some of them, you never know….
