I guess that Dr. Stan has a busy life, but c'mon, I want ADVENTURE.

Dear Reader,

It’s been a quiet week for our local hero, so I decided to pull out that leaflet he handed out again (please don’t mind the coffee stains, sometimes your morning is good and sometimes it’s not, generally dictated by the amount of coffee involved). When reviewing the list the Dr. Stan gave us I started to notice a general pattern, they were all actions which can be completed relatively quickly. Why is that? I am not quite sure. But apparently our hero is focusing on the short term rather than the long term (I guess when you’re Unstoppable “long-term” becomes a little different”).

But I decided to look through that list and see if I could guess two or three which seem the most important. Am I right that they are to the Unstoppable Man? Probably not, but the dang superhero won’t go do anything, so here we are.

· Be better every day than I was the day before (I mean, this seems to your Author to be an extremely important thing that is weirdly both short and long-term. It’s really the only long-term-ish goal in that list. And hey, it’s something we can all do, so be a superhero, be your best self)

· Get to know my new EC’s (I have no idea what this means, Dear Reader, but getting to know anything better makes it easier to work with. So if the Unstoppable Dr. Stan can get to know something better, I highly recommend doing that, well, like right now)

· Determine where I am going to live for the next year, then either start looking for the new place or sign a new lease for my current apartment (this might seem like a weird goal to see as “important” but if you don’t have anywhere to live then you don’t really have anything. I need our local hero to continue fighting the terrible Static Stopper, who stops all in his path, and he can’t really do that without a nice, comfy home. Heck, I don’t know what kind of a roommate he is but he can always bunk with me)

I thought it would be a fun exercise, Dear Reader, to try to think of what might stop our superhero from completing each task, and see if we can find some ways to make sure he stays Unstoppable (maybe I’ll print off a leaflet of my own for Dr. Stan…)

· Be better every day than I was the day before (Ok, I’ve got nothing for this one. I guess… Like, laziness might stop the Doc? But then… You know….. Just don’t be lazy is about all I can say)

· Get to know my EC’s better (I’m going off the assumption that “EC” is a cute nickname for a person of some sort, and going by that the first step, Dear Reader, is for our local hero to introduce himself to the EC. After that, just working to talk to the EC as much as possible and try to determine their personality, what drives them, what they like, what they don’t like, etc. When trying to get to know someone it’s always best to get to know the inner person. And hey, look, I get to sound like a Hallmark commercial)

· Determine where I am going to live for the next year, then either start looking for the new place or sign a new lease for my current apartment (I think the big problem would be the landlord here. Are they nice Dear Reader? Are they a good landlord? Does our hero get a good deal with his current lease? Assuming he wants to stay at his current apartment, then the biggest obstacle would just be the landlord saying no. Which…. Well, I guess you could always bribe her to change her mind…. What’s that, Dear Reader? That’s illegal? Well then. We’ll just call it a “gift” that somehow causes the landlord to change their mind)

And now Dear Reader, as I am sure you are sick of reading out our Hero’s goals, we can hopefully move on next time to whatever our hero has planned next. Stay tuned for more of our wacky antics with the Unstoppable Dr. Stan!

Sincerely,

The Author
